This is how the car looked when I bought it in early June of 2000

A triple black Gran torino, Light rust behind the wheels and all original.

The car was the right model and year for my project, but it was the wrong color and had a full vinyl top with opera windows. I knew this would complicate the project, but the car was in such good shape and I didn't have a lot of different cars to choose from. With only 52,000 miles on the odometer and all pieces present I decided to buy it.
